The clients making samples three years ago want to place order today.

When I just log on QQ this morning, an instant message has come out, it’s from a customer who took the samples three years ago, which writes: Hello, I’m XXX from XXX company in Zhejiang, you’ve played the two damping for me three years ago, do you remember? The client has tested and was satisfied with it, now we would play the first order, 5000 sets.
I’ve checked the message about the client, have a little impress, but have forgotten the style he referred.
I’m so happy about it, replied immediately Of course I do remember, just can’t remember the style of the sample, could you please sent the picture of the sample to me, I will help to arrange the production at once.
He answered: OK, I have the picture here, now sending it to you.
When I took a look at it, oh, it is this model.
The client is a producer who product car Refrigerator, the soft-closing drawer slide glides is used in the refrigerator from a Korea client, the material required is environment-friendly galvanized, in addition, it must ensure that the refrigerator normal use in the negative 5 degrees, and when we push and pull the drawer extension slide, it should be no noise. Years of experience told me that the clients from Japan and Korea are strict in the quality. When I took the sample first time, I sent it to my client immediately, and they gave some advice on it, then I reproduced the sample, the client gave some suggestion in detail. It was the third time that they are satisfied with our sample. Hard work pays off, the client says test pass three years later and play the first order.
From the deal, give me the greatest feeling is you must be patient when you do the business. Do not think that a client contact you today, you have sent samples and made a quotation even talked to the client face to face, that he or she will certainly play an order in the near future. And do not think a client is hopeless when he or she haven’t played an order for half a year, and then give up the client. Actually many customers take half a year to order from taking samples to play an order, especially those who from aboard, they usually take our samples to do the product design, and it will take a long time to do the business. Or he was cooperated with a certain factory, and now he want to change it ,after taking the samples, he will pay attention to the big client that work with us, how the feeling with use our products, or the evaluation of our products, with an detail analyze, then he will play an order.

Why the push open slide can’t push open sometimes?


One of my clients chatted with me via QQ today. He has already received our touch open
ball bearing slide. He felt very satisfied with the galvanizing, craft and structure of our products. And after the test, he said the quality of our product is great. Because they have been using hafele’s products, now he thinks ours can replace hafele’s completely. However, there is a problem that needs to be solved before they consider using our product. The problem is that our touch open ball bearing slide was unable to push open one of every twenty times, but hafele’s drawer slide glides does not have this problem.

Due to our products exported to many countries, if that problem appeared before, many clients will cancel the order. And we must have improved already. So I asked him some questions. “Mr. A, I believe we can work out the problem you pointed out, so please allow me to ask you three questions”. “Firstly, were you ensured horizontal and align front and back? Secondly, as the drawing shows, have you reserved at least 5 mm for front panel?(Because it need to save some space for push open ball bearing slide to push open.)
Third, have the installation gap be reserved between 13.2 mm to 13.3 mm?” “Oh, we just did that according to hafele’s installation requirements.” Said Mr. A. I suggested him re-installing it again as our drawing. He did it and had a test again, as the result, it turns out great.
His client placed an order of several thousand sets of push open ball bearing extension slide right away and there will be many other large orders.

After experienced that, I obviously realized that without professional products knowledge, you will be in trouble and also you may lose orders.
